I know this has probably already been asked, but I got my e-ticket printed out for my season pass so I can go on the Friday preview day... Is carowinds allowing people to come and process their season passes early? I've done it once before, but carowinds released dates as to when early processing was taking place when I did it the first time..

I'm not sure if it is still the case, but they were processing passes at the campground. It's worth calling to find out.

So yeah...all I have been reading about is some coaster called Fury 325. Whats the big deal??? I mean...coasters like Intimidator 305 (both versions), Maverick OR any coaster I can really think of didn't get this sort of attention...

honestly, I dont think those coasters had as much marketing as Fury is getting. Carowinds is flooding the media with info on Fury. I would give them the credit.

Pssshhh just the world's tallest non-launched roller coaster. It's basically nothing.

Bear with me here, I haven't been to Carowinds in 3 years - I know that they assign you a row to keep capacity moving, it is the same at Disney World as of November 2014; however, you can request to wait for a row of your choice by waiting an extra train. At Carowinds is there any way to ask a ride operator to wait for the next train and grab the front row (or back row)? I really want to try both the front and back when I go on April 5th. Thanks guys, you all are really a helpful and fun bunch!

The thing is, it's not just being marketed here. A friend of mine in NJ posted a local (to them) story about it. A friend in Texas (who moved from here), saw it on her local news, as well.

This isn't super helpful but if it is an emptier day, chances are you are going to get the seat you want/like. If it is crowded, it all depends on the seat assigner. Through my experience with Intimidator, it mostly depends on the seat assigner. I have seen that they are more lenient on the back row than the front row. Hope this helps! :)
