I hate to break your bubble.... a 320 foot drop won't even break 100MPH in free fall.

98 meter free fall (321.something feet) will get you
Speed at impact:43.83 m/s
or157.78 km/h

157Km/h is about 99.5 m/ph

momentum at the top from the chain won't add enough inertia to the train to make it drop faster. 100MPH=not close to possible.

It won't even get close with an 85 degree drop. This discussion was had on a KD site when i305 opened.

You need a 335 foot drop with a 90 degree drop with no friction or wind resistance to reach 100MPH.

I guess while they are wrong, that is definitely gonna attract more people...

If you read the article it does say Giga coaster.

Don't post pics because not everyone was invited and the park doesn't want the RSVP email to get out.

I'm not sure what the big deal is about the wheels. Intimidator does the same thing, they run different wheels on it depending on the time of year. Here is the rack of wheels stored under the station of Intimidator.

^ I would say that anytime between 1PM and 6PM would be a good time to check in for testing. This is only based off of the weather though, so no promises. For all I know they might not even test today.

I am riding up there to my girl has to get her pass made. I would say just watch the webcam, and if you see testing, go. That is probably what I will do. I do know that you can get season passes made any day from 10-4 in camp wilderness (pretty sure most know this already but just in case.)
