General Carowinds discussion

You guys should probably get out of the house more.. The weather is beautiful! I'm going to go see Fury this weekend for the first time. I have a flight that leaves from Charlotte Sunday morning so I'm making sure to go by the park Saturday. I'll also be there next Monday, when my flight lands in Charlotte on my way back (Sunday Night). I'm hoping to catch it testing either this Saturday or next Monday, just so I can witness it in all its glory in person.

Edit: I'm almost certain the sign with the 6 is for parking. It doesn't appear that pole is a support on the coaster.

I'll let you in on a little known rule of comedy:
Telling the same joke 20 times doesn't make it funnier

Axel wrote: you have a serious comprehension problem. And I haven't posted corrected information on new posts.

You are king of spamming threads with "They moved a Crane" or "Do you think it will be ready?"

I don't know what this means, explain?

Compared to Intimidator's build up 5 years ago I've been VERY hands off when it comes to this message board. But now that Jonathan is away, maybe we should just close this thread for a few days? If people can't converse without arguments or name calling, then why even have this thread?

It's been a long, long... long.. year and half of speculation and hype. I encourage everyone to leave their computer for a while and do literally anything else.

I don't want to be a part of a website where people can't be excellent to each other at all times. I want a website I can be proud of, I wish you guys would say the same.

They've got scaffolding in the tunnel area so the workers can add some finishing touched to the columns on the bridge. Most of the testing has occured later in the afternoon once the construction workers have gone home for the day. I'm sure we'll see some testing later today.

You mean they are letting little kids in and making us wait 2 week? How dare they. I want all my hours back from sitting in front of the monitor waiting on any sign of life in the park. Oh and not to mention the days when there were water droplets and frozen ice on the camera. And then to add insult to injury they moved the camera away from the station view so I could not see them load the first train on track and run it. Now they giving little kids tours? What did they do to deserve this? All while me and my peeps are relegate to the drop off lot making bad videos, no one wants to see with our cell phones. I hope those babies will at least shoot some high quality video on their iPods. Then and only then might I forgive all of this.

I don't mind it all. But one question though. Are these kids even tall enough to ride Fury? I understand why the park is doing this, so I don't mind it at all. Just curious to know if any of them are tall enough to ride.
