The transfer track is not operated as block brake during normal operation on any coaster in the park. None of the coaster trains are stopped on the transfer tracks during normal operation. Furthermore when a train is removed from service on Hurler, the other train is left in the station. A train may be added on Hurler with the other train on the lift or the block brakes. Ride Ops can't remove or add trains to service, this is done by Maintenance.

Update: Cyclone is the only coaster in which the transfer track is used as a block brake. My guess is Arrow had to do it because of space constraints, but also remember that Cyclone's other train is sometimes stored under station but other times on the transfer track itself.

the hexagons under the bridge are lime green. Do you think the park will paint them, or was this just for the commercial? I'd love to see them painted that color.

I would think the color would be from the lights under there, not the structure itself.

Here is my take on using the transfer track as a block. It's most likely counted in with the lift hill. When a train is still on the lift, they wouldn't advance a train from the station to the transfer track until the train in front clears the chain, After that then the train in the station could advance and hold on the transfer track until the train in front has cleared a sensor area (like the turnaround or example) before advancing to the lift hill. This would increase capacity and not have the train on the lift any longer than necessary. I don't see what's so hard about that, They do it with dive coasters to increase capacity. It may not be a separate block from the lift, but it can be stopped there just like on the lift.
