Well considering Ricochet is a variation of Lime green, I'd say no because it's to close to Vortex and there's enough lime greens and teals going on in that section leading to Fury even the store on the corner have green LED lighting. I'll agree with magenta, purples, browns, white, greens outside of Lime green more darker greens and please no gray/grey or white supports.

I'm drawing a blank here and can't remember... Was anything in the spot where Super Saturator was prior to its installation? Part of me is thinking it was the water cannon/tank tag thing but I don't remember it being in that spot.

Yes, Blackbeard's Revenge. Blackbeard was removed after the 1999 season for Saturator.

The most recent thing immediately prior to Super Saturator was Boat Tag, which was removed for construction of the coaster. It was purchased by Knoebels and operated there until last year when Impulse opened in its place.

EDIT: This is not correct.

I'm pretty sure I did Blackbeard's Revenge in '99 when Top Gun Opened before it was removed that year. I think the Boat Tag was also gone before that as well.

Lol, I was wrong, I went on Sunday. Notes:

-It was really empty, most things were walk-ons. Maybe the water park was crowded, I didn't go (I had a sunburn from Wilmington the day before so I didn't want to wear a swimsuit out in the sun again..) The new slides looked really nice from the outside (:

-Plants vs. zombies was really cool!! My mom beat me though.

-On Vortex, my seat was a lot harder to adjust than I remember! I had to put a lot of force to make it go down. I'm not super light either, probably average weight for a female, and I don't remember having any difficulty at all except when I was 12 lol. Anyway, after I got it adjusted and it was locked, I was just standing waiting for it to be checked and they unlocked them! It hurt really bad!! I didn't hear them give any warning at all. Never have I been so glad that I am not a man.

-I'm actually pretty thankful for our ride lineup. I have been to 3 other parks this summer, and I hadn't been on a giga coaster, a flying coaster, a stand up coaster, a wild mouse (Would Pandemonium- a Gerstlauer spinning coaster- be a wild mouse technically? I think of it as a different category) or a drop tower until Carowinds. I really love drop towers. Wow

I did a little more digging on the Polaris site. Below is a yellow line that I had hoped (dreamed, ASSumed??) would be a road. After looking more closely, I also see the construction clearing continues to the lines in red.

So I started following the clearing/environmental black protection barrier to the east:

Where it ends to the east, there is a crew installing underground pipe.

Where the construction ends to the west, there is also work going on. I have no idea what is going on in the area in red (nothing Carowinds related, just curious) but the area in green belongs to Charlotte Meck utilities.

It seems very doubtful that the clearing has anything at all to do with Carowinds, other than to possibly be bringing them more/upgraded utilities. So no road rerouting from what I can tell. That's what you get when you start ASSuming things.
