Everyone in Charlotte, be safe. There's never an excuse for this kind of violence, but I hope everyone keeps an open mind about WHY this is happening.

Don't get caught up in the negative and have some perspective and hopefully people will take the opportunity to expand their understanding instead of closing their minds and allowing the status quo to continue.

I just noticed that the dining plan for 2017 has changed to only one meal per visit vs the every 4 hrs. I wonder if it will include Winterfest meals? Does the current 2016 meal plan include Scarowinds visits?

Normally at 12am. But there are 3 or 4 nights in October that are 1am closings.

Looks like you can't renew silver passes. Person at gate said they are not going to have them. Person at guest services said they didn't know if Silver would be offered

Where did you see that you get only one meal. The Carowinds website says two every visit. Yes The 2016 meal plan does work at Scarowinds. But keep in mind the if you go to Carowinds during the day and use the meal plan one time, you can only use it one time during Scarowinds. It is only good for two meals the ENTIRE day, not two for carowinds and two for scarowinds.

I had heard rumors previously that the silver passes were going away. Looking at the carowinds.com site for season passes, it does appear that the rumor was true and silver passes will no longer be offered.

Which is kindof sad..it just makes it much more expensive for families. I'm debating even getting one next year because my kids are 3 and 5 and there just isn't enough in planet snoopy to justify the full cost

Carowinds usually starts selling the Silver Pass in the winter after the park has closed for the season.
