More than likely (like last season) they will use the picnic pavilions a lot for ride parts. Rides like Scrambler (believe it or not) get torn down completely and put back together. It's very interesting what exactly has to be done for these rides.

And bloodyard was in the way of deconstruction. Not to mention the 30 trash cans that we washed out today from around that area
In all honesty, that needs to be on "Dirtiest Jobs".

When does the park announce the official opening day? Isn't it usually somwhere around the end of March? My youngest has a birthday March 24th and I'm hoping we'll be able to use our passes on her birthday weekend.

Also, is there a way to buy Carowings tshirts online? I wish I'd bought a few at the park before the season was over to wrap up for Christmas since our pass renewal is our kids' big Christmas gift but I forgot. :(

It's funny that when I open Google Maps in Safari on my mac I still see Thunder Road yet when I log in to Chrome, it shows Carolina Harbor under construction. How does one update Google Maps on Safari?

March 25th looks to be the likely opening day based on previous years. They usually have the calendar up by January and sometimes sooner.

Last year, the opening day in like the middle of December. I just have one question. Why doesn't anyone say (or know) that Carolina Cyclone was the first roller coaster to have 4 inversions? (I bet a few of you didn't know that either. LOL) Is it just that Carowinds isn't that popular? Because everyone knows that Corkscrew at CP is the first coaster with 3 inversions. I just want to know why nobody knows. And can someone answer this question with an answer or IDK at least. Thanks in advance!
