^^^I originally had a first sentence of my post that said something like "People have been telling you whether it's 'mathematically' worth it, but that's not the only way to think about it" but then I deleted it because I thought it was obvious... And my post was long.

The person who originally asked the question never explicitly asked about actual dollars. They asked "Is it really worth it?" Which to me almost sounds more like they were asking about personal value rather than financially. Anybody can do the math in about 30 seconds to see how many daily tickets you can get for the price of a season pass.

The only reason I got a season pass was so I could get the dining plan; to be perfectly honest. I mean, yeah, I'll probably use the pass at least once between March and May. But now I can eat in the park almost every day without breaking my wallet like I did last year.

Of course it's worth it if you'll go more than a few times. We went a ton of times so it was obviously worth it and my sister bought a silver pass for my niece who was visiting us. We went three times the week she was here and she felt like it was well worth it.

^Work of the offseason kind.

Per Carowinds Facebook pictures, the top of WWF lift has been removed. I predict on Opening Weekend the splashdown pond will still be mostly intact.

Well, we don't know the type of chinese joints you eat at. But if you're use to places like Mr. Chow you may be let down.

It was asked what will become of the old County Fair area. They really wouldn't say what will happen to that area. All they said was the new County Fair area will be the bomb and it will be like the old was never there. It was confirmed that WWF is not coming back for 2017. They would not even hint at what is going on with that area. Also the planter where the Carowinds sign is when you come in in front of the Plaza stage is being taken out. This is also to open up the area.

The old county fair area is suppose to be becoming country crossroads.

Unless you have been to China or Japan I doubt you have seen or heard of the kind of food I eat. Some of the food isn't on any restaurant menu.

^Hmm, they had earlier commented on the old County Fair being renamed to Country Crossroads. It is about time they open up some of the walkways, it has been needed for awhile.

The best way to add area to walkways is to take current planters and either get rid of them entirely, or basically shrink them in size. Besides, you want your guests to actually be able to sit under a shade tree. A lot of the planters in the park are much larger than the tree they hold. So the idea is to shrink some of them. This in turn will make for wider paths and enable guests to actually sit under the shade.
