I was thinking the same thing. It did get congested there during the shows at the plaza stage so it maybe a good thing. I think two smaller planters with trees for shading would work in that area too just to still break up the path a little bit.

From the construction tour today, Whitewater Falls boats are going to Canada's Wonderland. Other parts being distributed to the rest of the chain for their shoot-the-chute rides.

Unsure. Wormy and arby were on the tour so they will probably report in later with more details. For anyone who didn't see them some photos were posted on our Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

Drop tower sporting a new paint job

On closing day 2016 I noticed all of the lights on the lift and station were on, including the formally missing sections. Odd that they would do it during the season and right at the end, but they work now.

Webcam showing Fury's lights are on and it is indeed missing a short span of LED's near the base of the lift hill so maybe they are working on fixing that missing strand??

Hmm, odd. They were on on closing day. I don't have amy pictures of the light on the lift but here is one of the missing station segment from when I bringing up the end of the line for the daytime hours of 2016.

How much longer do you think Carolina Gold Rusher has? It was built when the park opened. Has it ever had any work done it?

What kind of work are you speaking of? They did some wood replacement in the early off season as usual, but I've haven't known of any major issues with it
