The girl at the end appeared to be African American (I may be wrong). And BTW, what was that bubbly blue drink she was drinking? I don't remember seeing that in Carowinds before.

I've never seen an Icee that looked that before, with all the bubbles on top. Also, the liquid looked too thin to be an Icee.

It's a snow cone type drink. That's actually ice and not bubbles. Like anything else, it looked better in the commercial than the actual thing...

That is what you call threading the needle. White enough to quell some people's fears, but at the same time, black enough to providing cover for when they accuse you of excluding folk. I ain't mad because 30 years later, the conversation is about her and the blue mystery drink, not the 80's style big hair lady with the All American family.
