After the current re-zoning efforts by Carowinds, It seems to me that a Hotel is in the near future. In my opinion they will announce it during the 2017 season, But depending on its size it won't open until at least mid-late 2018. I think it's time for Carowinds to build a Hotel. Camp Wilderness is nice but more for campers and Coaster Enthusiasts. This possible hotel should include some shopping and dining options and family amenities. If Cedar Fair is looking to make Carowinds the Cedar Point of the south, then this is going to be a nice size hotel since it will be the parks first. If they are just looking to expand amenities then they might build something like a Breakers Express. I think Carowinds is slowly becoming a 2 Day Park, Not including everything you can do off of park property like the City, White water rafting, And Hiking just to name a few. I want to hear some of you guys thoughts and opinions!!!

I apologize. Just felt that thread was more talking about the City side of it and the zoning of it.

Wasn't there an actual thread where the topic was a hotel? And not the zoning one.
