Same manufacturer?
By Dukeis#1
Yea, Schwarzkoph (The King of Coasters) built them both, like you said.

Dukeis#1 wrote: They are both Weight Drop models. The only real differance between the two is Viper was built later than White Lightnin, so the supports and equipment used on it is more advanced.

White Lightnin's/Golden Loop's Loop

Same expiereince in a different location.

the loop on viper dosen't look as round or as short as white lightnin's is(was)
By Cephas
Thats why I asked if they were built by the same manufacturer.
By Trev32
Oh.i also think that shrwartzkoph(is that how you spell it?) is the king of coasters(besides B&M)
By CarowindsZone
I think White Lightnin and King Kobra were prototype, all of them were built the same year.
By Dukeis#1
Yea, King Kobra and White Lightnin were built in '77 if thats what you mean, but most of the Schw. Shuttle Loops were built between 1978 and 1981, except for the ones at Great America CA., Kings Dominion, and Carowinds.
By Trev32
Is there a paramuont parks that hasn't actually gotten rid of they're shuttle loop?
By CarowindsZone
Nope, they are all gone.
By Trev32
that's stupid....we should protest to carowinds to bring they'res back! bring white lightnin back! bring white lightnin back! lol
By CarowindsZone
The task wouldn't be worth it.
By Cephas
Then lets get an shuttle like Wicked Twister at Cedar Point!
By Trev32
that would be so cool! and launch it at 80 mph and make it like 250 ft tall
By Cephas
90mph and 300ft.
By CarowindsZone
Why does Carowinds need a big coaster, it would only take up space. Intamin coasters are over-rated.
