I'm still of the opinion this isn't going to be the 325-foot Superman Ride of Steel many of us are hoping for, although I certainly hope I'm wrong.

This is diffently very exciting times for us all. Will have to save up some money so I can buy the ultimate pass to get into KD as well as Carowinds next year. Two brand new gaints to ride next years. 2010 is gonna be a awsome year

Lots of interesting rides next year.

Truly a banner year for the Southeast, with KD and Carowinds looking to get some big rides - in every sense of the word. This is somewhat reminiscent of '77, which saw both White Lightnin' and King Kobra, the world's first two launch coasters, and arguably the two tallest in the world when they opened.

Add Kennywood's interesting if not earth-shattering ride, Holiday World's very interesting water coaster, and maybe even something good at the Point. And maybe Flying Turns will finally get trains that work and that ride can open, which would be icing on an already big cake.

Looks to be an expensive summer in 2010. A Platinum pass is pretty much a guaranteed purchase here.

I'm late, I'm late for a very important date! No time to say "Hello", "Goodbye" I'm late, I'm late, I'm late, I'm late!

All I have to say on the matter is that the response would've probably been handled differently if it was directed at a veteran instead of a newcomer. And now...back to the topic at hand.

A little less than 10 hours to go...

Nice catch. Someone is going to get in trouble for breaking embargo. I guess Cedar Fair does not want to top their baby at Cedar Point. Will be interested to see the renderings of the layout in a bit.

Lol I remember someone over at theme park review called it, saying "watch this be five feet shorter than mf". Ha. This is a hell of a lot shorter than mf though, should be a fast ride unless they load it down with trims

It's going to be great to have such a great ride in our backyard. But I have to admit I'm abit disappointed in CF. Why protect MF and drop Intimidator in at 5' under her as opposed to going for the kill and taking the record back from Steel Dragon 2000? That's a huge investment to come up 13 3"' short of the world record holder. You don't just build a giga every year you know.
