Back in the day, AM radio ruled the airwaves and programming ranged from simple talk shows to full-blown audio productions with music, storytelling and acting.

Old radio westerns were also popular. Tales of gun-slingin', romance and ridin' across the prairie were the subjects of these stories. And what an art form - imagine telling a story with absolutely no visuals; just sound.

Well imagine our surprise when we found an old AM radio western titled, "What's Mine is Mine!!!" in our park archives. (Why we have this, I don't know - but we did have our own radio station here at one time. Did you know that?)

Anyway, in it, there was this peculiar news break that we thought you should hear. It involves something big. And a way for you to see it first.

I'll be the first to tell you, even though this is old, you should still give it a go.

So Taylor from Coaster Studios posted these not long ago of the new GCI coming to SixFlags Fiesta Texas. Whether they're legit or not, I'll leave it up to y'all. It's a nice layout tho.

Clearly a photoshoped version of mystic timbers plans with a horribly drawn layout.

I was thinking the same. He also posted the mystic timbers plans which shows the red stamp in the exact location with exactly the same faded ink as this one.

So...Knott's Boomerang has shown up at Most Amusement Rides over in The Netherlands for a refurbishment. I know this is also the company that did the refurb on the troika for Dorney.

Would Cedar Fair ship Boomerang all the way over there for refurb and back over to put it in, say Michigan Adventures? Or will they just end up with more trash cans (lol) and another park outside of CF bought it. I have heard both scenarios from people who obviously know no more than the Dippin' Dots guy.

Did anyone enter this? I wanted to, but if I won, I don't think I really have the time or money to actually fly to Ohio for the event.

But it still seems like a really cool contest and I wish parks did more things like this! (Or maybe I just don't know about them, but I've never really seen something like this before)
