Well, we all know that a ride is going to be the best evar simply by looking at it, right?
The funny thing is these people talk about Intimidator being "just another B&M hyper" like every park has one along with their Arrow looper and mine train. Then some state that Intimidator South isn't the competition, Millennium Force is. I hope it's better than MF too. I hate to tell these people but I've been on MF, and Intimidator blows it out of the water. As did Apollo, Goliath, and SROS @ SFA.
Over on KI Central, folks seem to be living in the same world with the rest of us. Some still prefer Diamondback, some thought Intimidator was better in some areas. Nobody was calling Intimidator lame, forceless, etc. And these people have actually ridden both rides they're comparing.
On one hand I hope that with I-305 the OTSRs aren't an issue, that the low to the ground layout rides better than it looks, and there's more airtime than it appears. Then I'll enjoy riding it when I visit KD. On the other hand, I'd get a bit of satisfaction if the thing gives all these fanboys a cauliflower ear on that first turn, right before the lift cable snaps and takes it down for a few weeks...
