Went to Kennywood yesterday. Frustrating operations (one train on some of the coasters including Phantom which had an hour plus wait), but still one of my favorite parks. Great example of quality over quantity. All six coasters are unique and just plain fun. Sky Rocket is underrated I think. Really fun and quirky ride; very smooth. Every time I go there I enjoy Phantom's Revenge more and more. I think it just jumped up my rankings a bit more; close to my top 5. Such a unique and intense but smooth coaster.

I am tired of buying expensive pre workouts that don't have enough of the ingredients in it anyways. Time to manufacture my own. I just ordered kilo beta alanine, a kilo of citrulline malate, a kilo of argine, and a kilo of creatine, and a kilo of caffeine. I plan to run:

4g beta alanine
8g citrulline malate
10g creatine
8g argine.
400mg caffeine.

I'm going to the Clemson @ Florida State football game in Tallahassee, Fl next weekend. Has anyone been to Wild Adventures in Valdosta, GA? It looks like a place I could skip unless someone here can persuade me otherwise?

I've been there. Cheetah is actually a really fun woodie. (At least it was in October 2012) The rest of the coasters are almost entirely off-the-shelf models from Vekoma. (Boomerang, SLC, Roller Skater, Kiddie Invert) The park also has a nice assortment of flat-rides, that a park like Carowinds should be envious of. The park has a very nice setting too, a very secluded "zoo" type setting with a big lake and a fair amount of trees.

You can buy your ticket online and it's "only" $36 bucks. Still quite a bit for basically Cheetah + other credits, but it was worth it to me to stop for a few hours on the way to Orlando. (But I'm also the biggest credit-whore ever)

I would recommend getting there when the park opens and knocking off all the crappy low capacity coasters quickly (if you bother to ride them at all). Cheetah is in the VERY VERY back of the park, and won't have a wait. I got there at 11 when the park opened on a Saturday and left at 3 having done all the coasters (including Cheetah multiple times) and all the flats.

Their SLC used to be one of the smoothest ones I've ever been on but that was several years ago so I don't know if it's aged well or not. The latest coaster added was a Miler from Celebration City that they renamed Viking Voyage.

Pro: Unless they've tamed it, the back seat has some of the most extreme air I've had on a coaster anywhere.
Con: It will destroy your liver/kidneys/spine/anything in your lower back...

Overall, what the park is now verses what it was before Herschend bought it is like night and day. It's nowhere near as good as Silver Dollar City or Dollywood, but they are trying. Herschend added a ton of trees to the park when they bought it and that has helped it not feel like a concrete jungle as much. It will be hot though. I've never been when I didn't think I was going to melt.

To add to what Jay said, get there early and hit the low capacity coasters first and when your finished go back and ride your favorites a few more times. It's not a whole day park (unless the waterpark is open and you want to lounge around) but you can easily kill a half day there with all the coasters and animal exhibits.

Looks like you will miss their Halloween event "Terror In The Wild" (http://www.terrorinthewild.com/index.html) (by one weekend) which I've heard is fairly good. In the past they've had a trail/maze that went through the swamp that was very well done. I see now that they've changed the route some and given it a new name: Black Death - Scourge of the Vampire so who knows what that'll be like.
