Why would the park spend the last 3 off seasons retracking Hurler if they were just going to RMC it  8)
That wouldn't make much sense.

I'd like to add:
Why would the park spend 5 years renovating and retracking a racing wooden coaster only to tear it down?

The same reason why they would repaint and spruce up a slide to tear it down less than a year later.

Speaking of slides, while it’s a bit early to speculate on 2020, if the orientation of the new coaster is the way I think it is, it leaves some space open for a new raft slide. Something like the Wedge at Knotts Soak City would fit here nicely.

I think this is something realistic in terms of what we could see in 2020, along with a Mat Racer slide.

He said he would like it for 2020 and you said it would be sooner than he thinks, so are you suggesting that 2019 will bring a water slide, in addition to the coaster? That's preposterous.
