Launch from a barn into a corn maze with a nice pre launch show. Hmmm... :?: That has to be it. Like they did at Kings Island, they are putting emphasis on the barn, not so much the coaster. The demonic creature in the barn window is responsible for what happens to riders inside the barn. Now the question becomes, where will the barn be located, first or second launch? You think it is possible Copper Head may not be the name after all?

Next season as in Fall at Dorney, I highly doubt Carowinds is getting two coasters back to back.

Not gonna work. Apparently if you try to be realistic about the teasers, you’re not “letting everyone just enjoy the teasing speculation”.

Have been reading the forums for a while now and finally decided to join in on the convo today.

Anyways, after getting caught up on all the teasers, but I have the feeling CF/Carowinds are just f'ing with us with the teasers, probably just playing mind games with us enthusiast for basically no reason. But, maybe the reasoning is because they're pissed that Screamscape leaked the ("official") ride layout.

But what do I know?

RFD doesn't mean 'rural farming district.' It stands for 'rural free delivery.' The modern day idea of delivering mail to every one in America started 45 minutes north of Carowinds.

^^ Carowinds confirmed a while ago on either Twitter or Facebook that ‘RFD’ specifically in the case of the section at Carowinds meant ‘Rural Farming District’.

^ The RFD was indeed absorbed into the Crossroads section after 2016.

At any rate Crossroads is likely the name they’re keeping as it ties into the County Fair, just as the old Country Crossroads tied into the original County Fair section.

A station building similar to that of Thunderbird would be nice, the recent station buildings at Cedar Fair parks have looked so bland, especially around the time of Fury and Valravn. They appear to be getting better since Mystic Timbers though. A shed type show building prior to the first launch would be awesome but I’m not going to get my hopes up, we shall see.

I could be wrong (it wouldn't be the first time) but does Cedar Fair really know what Pat Hall and company were thinking back in 1973? I seriously doubt it.

Carolina RFD doesn’t go all the back to E. Pat Hall and Carowinds Corp.....
It was Country Crossroads and Indian Thicket....
Carolina RFD came about sometime after 79 but before 87.
