Get off of this forum with your reasoning and logic! They’re obviously trying to undermine Carowinds’ announcement so they can get thousands of people from North and South Carolina to buy $500 round trip plane tickets just to ride a rollercoaster!

If I shop at a Walmart in Charlotte and a new one opens in Alaska, well I’m obviously going to Alaska because that’s the only thing that makes sense!

Agreed

Carowinds could have been over shadowing six flags and magic mountain wanted publicly

All these conspiracy theories lol . . .

Carowinds and SFMM is not in direct competition and will never be. Yes, there was a seemingly "coaster war" between SFMM, Great Adventure and CP back in the day but this is all a coincidence. Six Flags always announces late August to boost labor day season pass sales, same with Cedar fair. These parks' only object is to be better than their last year selves. Not to one up another park.

The evolvement of the construction site is showing more and more similarity to the leaked blueprint. As dirkdiggler pointed out it looks like a large footer for the first loop is now visible, the columns for the transfer track, and if you look in the second photo there you can see the circular area behind the old bathroom where the helix before the second launch will be.

I was secretly hoping the layout was something just to throw everyone off but it's looking more everyday like the real deal.

This one popped up a few months back and it seems to be pretty spot on, my guess is the loops and tophat won’t break 100ft, not saying that’s bad just an assumption.

No those are light posts, they have been there for a while.

I am unsure, but I think a few more supports have been delivered.... There is also a wooden crate as well, assuming its bolts etc. for the supports. I got a few pictures of the following support #'s on site
K037 K028
K005 K020
K017 K111
K031 K033
K039
K034
K040
K006
K018
K161
K04
K162

The only one was 04 that wasnt on the blueprint, however, 004 is, so I am guessing that they just forgot a 0? Everything else matches, working on finding all these on the blueprints.

They will be announcing a Mack launch coaster as well. So could be true.
