General Carowinds discussion

^You'd be surprised what doesn't look like an inversion from an overhead view.

ADA guidelines for a ramp/slope is simply to make sure the slope is inline with 1:12. ADA doesn't discourage anything, they just make sure everything is accessible.

They will be announcing a Mack launch coaster as well. So could be true.

You are basing this off of what?

Sorry I know I also posted recently about info I heard about our expansion from park staff, I didn't post any of that as fact or that I believed it, simply what I heard when asked.

In the case of this post, it was information that was passed on to me by someone that would know. (Man I hate saying that, cause I know you're all rolling your eyes)

You misunderstand my reference. I was simply stating that, from a building standpoint, that it would be easier to construct a ramp at the exit that could accommodate everyone than to build a staircase into the sky and then back down all the way to the ground again only to also have to also construct an elevator for ADA access.

I wasn't saying that the ADA would have any say over whether they built the stairs or not.

Playing around with the OOCL Shipping schedule, here are some upcoming shipments that originated in Waldkirch, Germany (where the Mack HQ is) and have a destination of Charlotte.

Disclaimer: I'm not saying these are 100% going to Carowinds, just an educated guess.

Got it, and I agree.

I figured the same thing, but those beams seem a little high for a queue line railing, unless for whatever reason they are choosing for it to be taller, rather than what we are accustomed to. Maybe they are putting a shaded structure in the queue line?
