Ohkay...
Anywho, Carowinds definitely has the biggest US potential of the newly acquired parks. Carowinds also draws from Southern WV. A LOT. The closest theme parks are Carowinds and Dollywood, both at about 3-4 hours from most of southern WV, and the schools here take field trips to Carowinds every year.
It really is centrally located. NC and SC? Check. Northern Georgia? Check. Southern VA and WV? Check. I'm tired of some of the rides, and really think they need a lot of flats and at least one signature wooden coaster, but the Future still looks bright.
I think with a new woody, a couple of big slides in the waterpark, the new coaster coming next year, and some flats, that Carowinds could easily be a force to be reckoned with.
They already have a top 10 inverted coaster, BorgHawk is popular with the GP, they have some family and kiddy coasters, and once they get the rest of their ride selection fleshed out more, the park could easily grow their attendance more and more every year.
P.S. As for the NASCAR theories, and I dont' claim to know anything here, but would it be possible? B&C in MB had the license for that as far as themeing and rides goes, and they sold that with the speedparks. I wonder if they'd be able to use that? Cause I'm sure if it's up to the new owners of the Speedparks (who had said quite a while ago, even after the story on Premier working with B&C on coasters themed to NASCAR, that they want to expand on it) would let that happen for what they're likely paying for the rights to the license.
And before anyone brings it up, Speed is NOT officially NASCAR themed. At all.
