That layout would fit perfect in the space they fenced off. I just hope we can break the 200 foot limit. Goliath is only 174 feet.

Yeah, an over 200 footer compared to the less than 150 footers would completely shrink every coaster in the park, and make a mighty nice skyline too.

It might even reduce the line for BorgHawk. Ah, who am I kidding. People will still wait over an hour to ride it.

You might be right about that . Besides, if a hyper comes along, I'll be riding it while they'll be riding that shrimp. The thing attracts people like flies, while afterburn and even the cobra are better! People on this board said its just for the looks. And Borg looks pretty good.

Who cares whats practical? The guys on this board said steel was cheap. The cheaper it is, the more we get! I'm guessing (hoping) around 200 feet. We are not six flags. And we've been waiting a little less than a decade. Karma gives us a little something back. Unless the economy killed karma. And that I think that is a little too possible...

That is indeed Goliath at La Ronde FSU, and while it may not be a 'true' hyper coaster in the sense it isn't 200 feet tall it is still a B&M 'speed' coaster in that it is a tall, long coaster with no inversions and the open (non Behemoth or Diamondback) trains. Not to mention its layout is almost spot on with the area under construction so far.

B&M actually made an even smaller 'hyper' than that, the 140 foot tall Hollywood Dream in Japan:

I rode the magnum at cedar point. Not totally blown away. That hyper is 20 years old. Just so I can know if they're truly amazing, are they much better today?

This may be a STUPID question then, but what's the difference from a B&M "sitting coaster" and a B&M Hyper if it's not the 200 foot barrier? I saw the tags on the yellow and red track were MC and SC. People were saying MC is mega coaster (or hyper) and SC was sitting.

Hypers must be bigger than sitting.

The B&M sitting coasters typically have inversions, they are pretty much like the current floorlesses except they have a floor.
