Too bad about the fence around Dora. I had planned to ride Dora when it opened just to get some good views.

Also, I still think something like this would fit perfectly in the fenced off area. What does everyone think?

Isn't that the point?

no not really... yes cedar fair is going to TRY and keep this secretive for right now.... but come on, what would be the point of putting track pieces, footers, or whatever is in there, right in the middle of a triple out-and-back wooden roller coaster on other side of the park?

Try and upload them to a website like photobucket. Try and post them on here after you do that.

It's to trick you. Notice you said they want to keep it secretive. That's what they want you to think. They put it out in the open so you wouldn't think it was for this new coaster.

Are you using the "Upload attachment" form on here? If so, try it again. I just tinkered with it a bit.

^^ (carowindsman6654) yes but the only people this is going to trick is us.... the coaster dorks that come on here and post about a new roller coaster 8) (yeah we're cool)...... but the GP has no idea! they are thinking "oh look! Construction! I wonder what the park is building there!.... A new rollercoaster?!!"... they (the GP) arent going to look for hidden coaster construction "paraphanalia" in the middle of Hurler!!! there arent that many people that even notice those trailers and wonder whats in them and they certainly don't tie them to the construction thats going on on the opposite side of the park! Get my point?

Obviously, CF is trying to trick us, or they're making us think they're tricking us. Or are they? I'm reminded of The Princess Bride for some reason.

At any rate, things are progressing nicely. The markers spotted by Jay sure seem to scream B&M to me, based on what I recall of similar markings seen at SFOG pre-Goliath, for example. I woulda started to wonder a bit if these hadn't shown up soon. These also confirm that the fenced off parking lot area is for the ride, and not merely for the construction. Let's see, large area, B&M looks to be the maker, and there is hyper track being made in Ohio that doesn't look to be going overseas. I'm really starting to believe now, although I'm gonna maintain a bit of healthy skepticism until I see footers, track, and an announcement.
