General Carowinds discussion

How do we know these aren't cropped pictures of them unloading the supports. (photo shop is amazing) However this would be a pretty cruel joke to play. I am at the point where I don't care what we get as long as it is new, and I think everyone agrees with that.

Just for the record I cannot possibly see how something of this nature could get confused on what park supports go to. And if so, someone in shipping just lost thier job.

I'm shocked noone else has noticed this.

Vortex actually still has its footer markings, and are as clear as day. As I stumbled across yesterday.

If you look at one of the markings in the parking lot, and one of Vortex's markings they are the same pattern exactly.

Are these used only by B&M, or are footer markings pretty much the same for each company?

That is a very good observation Wes. I try to stay away from Vortex as much as possible. :? They have been doing too much work at Carowinds to change it now, and everything thus far has firmly pointed to a B&M. If the supports from KD happen to land here, to me that will just mean they have been B&M supports the entire time and not Intamin as originally thought.

I mentioned this almost two weeks ago about Goliath at SFOG  ...and you can see them on Carolina Cyclone also ... they are NOT the same pattern... Arrow used to mark them (before they went bankrupt) like... "C-56" for example.

You and me both. I was only over there because my friend who was in town from Jersey was riding it and I was walking around taking pictures. The picture I have there, the footer is actually outside of the fence so you can walk right up to it. But the other footers in the fence have their markings on them as well.

And before anyone panics, no this is not some PhotoShop joke. I actually don't even own the program.

The Video is intriguing. Hmmmm...

I do wonder what that was doing there if it's not meant for KD. I know they're getting something at least decent next year, still don't know what.

And where'd I miss the rumor of what CP was getting? And why are they spending money on a coaster for that park? They need a dark ride!

Well, from what I could see in the dark with the park closed was absolutely nothing. No containers in the parking lot or in the employee area. But they could be hiding in the bus lot behind the paladium or in that cleared section behind Cyclone. I just don't see those containers ending up here either; every credible rumor we have heard clearly points to a B&M (not to mention an identical construction area to the layout of Diamondback). I'll try and go back tomorrow to get a better view during daylight hours, but I don't think we will see anything new.

From what I've been Told. And I can't say from who or were. We should have nothing to be worried about. All signs are pointing to a B&M hyper, Just pray I am not wrong. got my fingers crossed tightly.
