Lets Just say I've been lucky, on about a dozen occasions. But Im not really a new user. I've been reading and watching this site for years. but never posted anything for a very long time. so long I forgot my old user name and password, so just created a new one. My old one has most likely been wiped out anyway by now

That is true, but I never claimed to have an "inside source".

If as many people had "sources" as the ones that claim they do, we'd know alot more than we do. People can't keep secrets for anything.

People who want their sources to continue telling them things do. No way I would ever reveal half the stuff I know on here or anywhere else because I value people's trust.

This is off Topic, but how in the world do you get a pic of yourself on here?

Thanks Jonathan, Will try and do that when i get time too. I value people, life, friends. I keep people's secrets not just so I can benefit from it. but to protect them also. I always try and treat people with kindness and respect. the way I would want to be treated. but I never ask for anything in return, they just sometimes give it.

I'll tell you this, I know people at the park that actually know what is going on next year and strangely enough they haven't told me anything. People must like to keep their jobs.

There are other people, some park employees, some not that claim they know something and they've been telling me bits and pieces. Although their stories seem to all be very similar.

But if you've ever played the game "Gossip", many people can start out with the same story but it somehow always will get twisted by the end of the loop. lol

Wasn't the guy at Worlds of Fun that said something about Carowinds getting a hyper like late last year or something?

You should tell the guys at KD that... CharlotteGuy, since you live near the park can you go hang out by Wendy's and see if Hapag Lloyd Trucks pull into Carowinds...not saying you have to, of course, but that would be cool.

Why in the world would the supports be put back into shipping containers if that was the case? Also, if they were planning to put the supports somewhere else in the park, why wouldn't they have just put the supports there in the first place instead of unloading them in the parking lot?

You know there weren't that many supports there unloaded to begin with were there? Certainly not a whole roller coaster's worth? So here are a couple ideas I had:
1) these are orphan pieces and the other pieces are somewhere else, maybe en route, maybe they went to the right place and these got delivered wrong
2) could these be leftover pieces from Dominator that they don't need when they relocated the ride?
3) I don't think they'd put the pieces in a truck with a tarp over it simply to travel down the road to another part of a park. In VA the rules for trucks with cargo require loads to be covered on the highways. If they just needed to relocate it on the property, they wouldn't have needed the blue tarp (look at the photos)
4) these parts may have come in on a ship to the Port of Richmond (along I-95 about 20 miles away) and were here so they wouldn't have to pay storage at the Port (but why unload them?)

Just my 2cents, the mystery is half the fun. headed to KD next week for a couple days, will see what I can see.

Why unload them? Because they would have to pay for the rental of a truck for 8 days if they didn't unload them.

I wouldn't see them unloading pieces of a coaster to get them off a truck to keep paying for the rental on it. It can't be that much to leave a trailer sitting in a parking lot. I would much rather pay the rental fee than unload and reload and take the chance something happening to any of the pieces. I don't know what is going on with it.
And yes, I have an inside source.......usually I spill it a couple hours after eating deviled eggs.
