To me saying the word 'porn' is a lot different than actually showing borderline pornographic pictures. The images didn't really bother me at all but Jon, Max and myself have to look out for everyone on the boards, especially as their are many people who are underage that browse the forums. You have been here long enough to know that we all like to have a good time and mess around, but some things I just can't allow.

You would have been better off posting your picture from Boomerang Bay media day 3 years ago.

I sort of see Jarvis's point. What is the difference between the pics he posted and this?

Besides 300 lbs, of course.

What he posted was something you might see walking around Boomerang Bay. Let us hope not, but you might.

Sorry for the goose chase. Gallon of gas on me. I did drive by the red rectangle container in the parking lot and it is some kind of construction office from what I saw.

Thanks for confirming. I'm sure that saved me or someone else some time, legwork, and gas! :)

Maybe those square things are what is embedded in the dirt in the upper part of this photo:

Are those housings units for spotlights?

Looks to be drains for the splashdown or loading station area to me. The black pipes next to those square things give it away. Water has got to go somewhere when it rains. Oh and my reaction when track starts to arrive on site: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pFlcqWQVVuU

I got a crappy "Better snap this now since we're going down" cell phone picture of some of the work-site. Didn't think to snap any photos until we were already going down. I wish my phone had a zoom.

And I could've sworn I had my phone-camera set to a big resolution. Sorry about that.

You can see the black pipes and such on the left, and some concrete blocks and such towards the right.

I'm probably going back sometime next month, and I'm going to try and bring my actual camera to take some not-crappy, not small pictures of stuff. haha.

So, the concrete "blocks" could be for drainage...Does that mean the pole things could be used for that too? Or, do they have anything to do with supports at all? And also, does anyone have an idea what could be in those big white trailer-looking units behind the dirt?

Those white trailers were used for scarowinds before.... dont know what they keep in them year round? Not sure what those concrete boxes are...my guess is as good as everyones...but I agree that its something to do with drainage for water... I cant wait til they start putting some of this stuff in the ground so we can get a better idea of where everything will go (i.e. the station) I first thought that the station would be somewhere near where the log flumes entrance was...but now i dont think so. From the looks of some of the pictures where it looks like they dug the "ditch" I am wondering if that is where they could put a water stream (like how diamondback has). I dont know though.... keep up the good work with the updates! I hope I can get down to the park soon and get some good pictures to contribute.
