Train shed, I believe. Lots of rebar for that. Looks standard; the station is going to be right before the lift hill, as diagrammed by CoasterFreak225, just like Diamondback.

This makes me believe the return bunny hops will be over by the service all the way to the parking lot. The cleared land to the right will be just the "entrance" public area.

Having seen those pictures, I would guess no splashdown. It looks like the final brake run is right there beside the service road as was mentioned in the last two posts, and then it makes a left turn into the station.

Thanks for the nice greetings. Also much thanks to P2P for the awesome pictures just posted. I guess I will post fairly regular from now on since I do check in with this thing daily. I have a question? How do I pick on post and respond just to that post? As for Tinkerdog, I hope I am still into all of this at that age. My only change since I have gotten older as opposed to when I was 20 is that I am not into the tall drop rides anymore as the height thing gets to me. This is no way been a problem with my coaster riding. I have been to CP three times and Dragster and MF were no problem. As for the GoldRusher, I think it is one of the smoothest mine trains coasters around. Looking at the layout and the extend of the fence line, I would really not be surprised it it was over 5000.' I guess a part of me is still in the 'we are a medium sized park and we are gonna get shafted' mind set but the more I see the more I am thinking we ARE gonna get a real gem here:) As for the bridge deal, I will have to say that I feel that if it were gonna go under the bridge there would have to have been survey work already so I have ruled that one out but I do agree it would be much better than a splash down which is more for the viewer and the scenery (is NightHawk not beautiful to LOOK at this year?) and not the rider. I envisioned a zoom under the bridge and then a Raging Bull (SFGA) style turnaround over the rapids and then back under the bridge again to the station. Oh well. As for JamminJ, you should see the parks I have marked on GE (Google Earth). It is all that Duane has listed and a couple of hundred more that he does not yet have listed. Mostly in India, Russia and China. They are not listed due to lack of info mainly and the ones I do have the facts and research on, he has not gotten to them yet. GE is getting better and better so it is getting easier to find the info. And John 43221, awesome job except is does appear this thing will be even longer than just to the edge of the south great. I was thinking the same turnaround area as you have until more recently.

They were drilling and putting in rebar right behind those trees in Patrick's pics. How is that going to work? :? The coaster can't go through the trees. It doesn't look like it would parallel it either if that is indeed the lift hill in the center of the site. They would have cut down those trees by now if they were going too.

Could this thing still have a splashdown if it were to crossover the station on the way back and then drop and splashdown perpendicular to the station? Or, maybe go under the brake-run and splashdown, splashing the riders above? Does this post make me look stupid? :|

Just based off the footer holes, I would say no. There could potentially be one before the brake run, but that wouldn't make much sense as it wouldn't really be visible from inside the park, which defeats the purpose.

The problem is that I believe the train shed is clearly being prepared right now and it's next to the station by the service road. So you'd have to get back there somehow.

I contend that the area to the right of the station is just public area, like the entrance to Behemoth, wide open area.
