I have no clue but I seen it with my very on eyes! They were going the other way then I was but im telling u they looked like supports that were not painted in that pic the other day! Not one truck but three of them. It would make more sence going down I 77 cuz I asked my father when we were driving and he agreed that I 77 would make more sence but who knows anythigs possible!

So one or two things are happing here! Eather there not our supports in witch were seen in that pic that the guy with the ford focus took or they are our supports and they got lost! Cuz y would they need to come down I 20?

well which direction were they going? closer or farther from carowinds, cause that answer hasnt been stated you just said opposite direction of yourself.

Are supports ever painted onsite?

Usually not. With the way B&M makes everything perfect, the supports will be painted before being shipped (assuming this is a B&M coming to Carowinds).

I was on I 20 about 20 min ago coming home from Columbia SC and I seen 3 tracktor trailor flat bed trucks all in one line going down the interstate with what looked to be support beems!!! Like coaster support beems they looked exactley like the support beems posted on here that have not been painted!

Interesting. Wish you would've taken some pictures, but oh well ...

well just a random thought, but would anyone like to see a pre-drop on this new coaster? for example the small drops on apollo's chariot and raging bull before the first large drop.

Not a chance. That was one of those things they did with their first two hypers for reasons that I don't know (maybe someone on here does), then quickly realized was unnecessary.

My suspicion was always that they didn't want the train gaining too much speed before it cleared the chain and the anti-rollbacks.

Don't worry folks, not closing it for good. It should open back up Sunday evening, if anyone does go to the park for and has an 'emergency' update feel free to PM Jonathan, Max or myself.

I'm giving everyone a day or two off to get off the computer and go outside and do fun things. In the meantime I will be going back through the last 25 or so pages and cleaning up a lot of the mess. I will also finally make my update thread nicer to look at.

Let this be fair warning though if anyone makes a new topic on this subject, or any new posts are made on this subject in existing posts they will be deleted. All the other topics will remain open for business, feel free to contribute to them as if things were normal.

Well I guess it's safe to say that those supports I seen were not going to carowinds!

I think the reason AC and RB have pre-drops was to spread out the weight. If you look at the new ones they have bigger crests where as the old ones have small tight crests.
