HA! Its hard for me (and plenty of other readers) to believe you are NOT a kid. Yeah that website is there, so what. Alot of people will rather wait til the 26 and be confirmed a name instead of make it seem like everyone else is dumb for not believing the name is white whatever...The name can be anything. Just because a domain was purchased doesn't really mean anything. Maybe that name was considered for something who knows, but we will all know on the 26...(some of us already know...

This would be correct had I not mentioned several examples of where what I wrote doesn't apply to or make sense with every coaster. But, if you'd like to count it as a "mini hyper", knock yourself out.

For the same reason CF didn't theme top thrill dragster to "NHRA". They are not gonna waste the money on a brand name when they could use that money to build coasters.

Well this popped up on Rock Hill SC's newspapers website. http://www.heraldonline.com/front/story/1543043.html. As you can see it didnt go into detail about what it is. $11 million bucks for a B&M hyper(if it is a hyper) is a little cheap isn't it?

Well, ladies and gentlemen. I'm officially all out of "care." They can theme it to whatever they feel like, and I'll either like it, or I'll call it stupid as I ride it for the eighteenth consecutive time. I only hope I can immerse myself in KD's reveal enough to make the next week go by without having to talk about Nascar, or Dale Earnhardt, anymore.

Oh, and that 11 million is probably referring to the set of flat rides going in next to Coaster 2010. Notice Dani says "2010 projects"

Dont hypers usually go for around 20-30 million though? And with this statement here. "Carowinds spokeswoman Dani Swords declined to provide specifics, saying only that Cedar Fair's investment involved “our 2010 projects.” She said projects so that does have me wondering if we are indeed getting a flat ride on top of a new coaster. Or was she meaning Cedar Fair as a whole

im gonna give you a chance to retract that statement. Honestly its a typo if you think anything B&M makes is 11mil, let alone a presumed hyper...

The article title is very misleading (go figure) and it makes the average reader think the new "ride" is gonna be the coaster and it will cost only 11 mil. The lawyer states there will be other facilities. The investment doesnt say it has to be rides or coasters it could be a resturant, a show building, a restroom...anything.

Also it says it will spend 11mil on the york side TO BUILD a new ride, it doesnt say it will spend 11mil FOR a new ride. To build can be interpeted as anything but I strongly it means the ride will cost 11mil. The 11 million could be site prep, demo, station, concrete, landscape, launch control housing unit .

But than again...what do I know?

It is indeed a very misleading artical. Though It clearly does state first sentence " Carowinds will spend $11 million to build a new ride on the York County side of the amusement park, county officials said Monday after extending a tax agreement with the park's owners. So by what the paper states is 11 million on the ride. I think Carowinds would have mentioned to the county the full price of the coaster. The footer's dont cross onto the NC side by what I see from all the pics. If this statement is true could the B&M contract with Cedar fair be true, and they got a great deal on the new coaster? I guess we will all see what happens on the 26th. Though it did say new ride are there any flat rides worth that much? Dani did say projects.
