Cobra is the tallest at 117.5 feet, Nighthawk tops out at 115, and Afterburn tops out at 113 feet. 232'/2=116 feet so one more section of track and it will offically be the tallest coaster in the park. I can't wait to see how much taller it looks than Skytower from I-77, and Ave of the Carolinas.

Carowinds.com has proven inaccurate several times before, Afterburn is 113 feet tall, 113 feet was on the shirts in 1999, and RCDB lists it as so. The DROP may be 144 feet, but I am 99% sure it is 125 feet. Cobra is 117.5, but Carowinds says it is 125. Carowinds.com has also listed the Goldrusher's top speed as 16MPH, and Vortex as having 8 cars per train.

Intimidator won't be taller than sky tower. Intimidator will be 232 ft. And I think sky tower is about 320-350 ft, someting like that im not sure exactly.

I'm not a mod or anything....but this going back and forth about this is way off topic. For the record....The DROP is 144 ft. on Afterburn, HEIGHT of the lift hill is 113 ft. (which is what the true height is calculated statistically by the coaster world). Carowinds "embellished" by using the drop instead of the height. Really...get over it.

Back to the construction....I can't wait to go in the spring!!!!!!! It's coming up nice and fast. Wish I lived in Charlotte still so I could go by before the end of the season. I miss my original home park.
