Jesus christ! Who's ever decision it was to place the lift going out towards the blvd (probably someone at paramount im sure) knew exactly what they were doing...

So true, it looks MONSTROUS, not to mention how its gonna look with the second and third hills, man its gonna be all you can see! I love it. That pic with the Wendys sign in it is telling.

Left up to Paramount the new ride 2010 Carowinds ride would be a relocated Big Bad Wolf the company bought at a Busch fire sale. They would have the nerve to call it Transformer: The Ride. If not that perhaps something from KI or KD's trash heap. Paramount gets no credit here, they only had a decade to install a hyper. Hell we even tried to help them out by telling them where to track it, --under the bridge. But did they listen nooooo, they had another idea. "Lets send them KD's FOF". To add insult to injury they weren't even going to send the building that housed the ride either. The nerve! All we would have ended up with was a used Joker's Jinx. You know how much we love that one.

Guess top gun wasn't enough...

I know I read somewhere where it was said the lift would be done by the end of the month but it seems things are going faster than expected. What generally happens when construction is done before the assumed date? Are construction workers paid hourly or salary?

Uh.. no top gun wasn't enough. We are talkin 1999, it takes more than one good coaster to make a park. Look at what other places had in 99, we were really getting lame rides at the precise time other parks were getting killer things.

Salary, in the contract it says that they will be payed so much(I dont remember how much 1.6M maybe) , and that it must be completed before opening day. So the faster they get it done, the better for them.
