If thats what you wanna think...and fear
Mr.Nitro wrote:IMO its ridiculous that a woodie like the beast was built in 79 and over 15 years later the best we could get was Hurler.
yep...Carowinds had 30+acres just sitting around doing nothing and missed out on the chance to build the best woody in the world!
Mr.Nitro wrote:If that satisfies you then fine. Ive been to plenty of parks and for the most part they are better than Carowinds. Either you don't go to better theme parks or you are very easily pleased.
Sorry I dont carry a banner of how many parks I have been to...
Mr.Nitro wrote:Loch Ness Monster for instance is a fantastic landscape coaster and a LONG ride time as well and was built BEFORE Cyclone. that sickens me.
Yeah again, Carowinds didnt take advantage of that awesome landscape they have and those deep ravines and make cyclone better than what it was. I guess that model wasnt as successful as as loch ness's model since only about 10 coasters followed that same layout vs the...one other coaster that followed loch ness's model...and IT WAS DEMOLISHED!
Mr.Nitro wrote:Whatever floats your boat there "bruh" Also its not to say I don't love Carowinds bc I obviously do, it's just dumb for me to get shot down bc I said I'm happy we are finally getting a competitive coaster and that we have all been patient.
I just think its funny when people forget the history of a park and think everything the park currently has couldnt have been groundbreaking in its hayday. Eventually some people are gonna thing intimidator wont be a "competitive coaster" in years to come...I mean thunder road was a record holder when it open as well as the "lame cause carowinds didnt take advantage of loch ness layout" cyclone was like one of the first, if not the first, coaster to flip upside 4 times...
Thats what I have a problem with!
Anyway...I see they moved dora's train...I wonder why that was...
And since we are on the subject of intimidator (we are still talking about that right lol) does anyone have any insight in how the chain lift is installed?
