Seems like this topic has turned into a B&M vs Intamin. I thought for a minute I was on the KDFANSITE untill I looked up and saw this was Carowinds Connection. So besides calling the Carowinds RIde 'Timmey' which is what the KD Fan Boys/Girls is calling theirs also. We have also beating the chest of the good old 'OUR RIDE IS DA BEST' rant just like the KD Fan Boys/Girls are doing. Well I guess it is alot better than it is Paramount's Fault afew pages back.

Since we are doing the beating the chest thing, I think I will go with mine saying the any Park owned by in whole or joint run by Blackstone is alot better than the whole Cedar Fair Chain. There we go!

So lets see if we can get this bad boy back on topic about the RIDE that is being built at Carowinds and leave the crying to the other sites and no I am not trying to dictate what you can say and this is not Red Dot City or whatever some people call it.

Kings Dominion is my home park and I305 is going to be my homepark Intimidator next year, that's the reason for the avatar. I hope that answers your question. As far as construction I just checked the webcam and half of the 1st hill is up so we should see this completed in the coming days.

Nah...it looks like its gonna take longer than the coming days...I am factoring in the time its gonna take to add and remove the inline roll...and add the extra supports after the ride opens

No offense. When you speak of KDfansite, you of it as a whole. Personnally, we have a few bad seeds that just ruin the forum with their negative opinion and always bagging on EVERYTHING! You'll are so lucky that ya'll don't have these problems here. I'm with Brian over the fact that KD is my home park and I here to help support it. But I will still be a contributing member of KDfansite. I have enjoyed Carowinds Connection because ya'll give great critisizm. I agree that I'm over with KDfansite's Drama. Its quite anoying.

Back to Intimidator, from looking at the webcam, I would have to agree with ^ about the second hill is begining.

This view is absolutely mind blowing! I've seen several long distance views that make me go "WOW", one being from the Belk's parking lot at Carolina Place Mall about 4 miles away, but this view really does look "intimidating". Thanks for the continued updates Wormy!

Why are there stairs only on the lift but nowhere else? How do they do the daily visual track inspection? I have never paid much attention to this until now. Woodies have stairs that run the entire ride, right?

The stairs on the lift are for people to walk down if they have to evacuate the ride. For inspections, they use a safety harness and some good climbing skills.
