Yes! I am all for Daily Inspections of MILFs. Need to make sure it has the proper Lube to cut down on bad friction that will slow the ascend and the decend. Hate for the friction to cause stoppage or having to much will cause things to slip out and such. Best thing I read on hear in afew months and sorry I could not resist this.

I'm gonna guess that since that hill is also a turn, it's going to look a bit "off" at some angles. That said, it does look like less of a gap than the renderings. The last pic from Wormy's post on this page looks a bit closer than some of the other shots.

This coaster almost - almost, that is - makes me miss my 25-mile-each-way commute to my job off of Westinghouse Blvd. During the time I worked there the most I got to see when Carowinds was closed was Borg peeking above the skyline and T-Road and Top Gun doing testing right before the season. Figures when I get a job closer to home Carowinds puts in a hyper. Oh well I'll live vicariously through Wormy's pics and enjoy my extra time sleeping each morning :D.

I went up there Sunday for the first time since "real" vertical construction began and it's true - pics don't do the ride justice. That first hill is huge. I had to keep reminding myself that I really was still at Carowinds and this wasn't a dream. It's just going to keep looking better and better as they get more of it built. It looks like they'll have a decent portion done by the time the park closes for the year at the rate they're going.

Well I had to make a comment about this, many pages back when construction first started everyone ( I am not going to do any name calling ) kept saying why are they going so slow? Now I don't read anyone saying look how slow this is going, but it is the exact oppisite.

One more thing to add, the same people talking about how slow our construction was going were also saying look how fast KD's construction is going. We kept getting compared like it's a race. Now look how much i232 is done versus i305. I just thought it was kinda funny how the tables turn. Great pictures and updates from all who contribute!

Well, thanks for not calling me out. And no i'm not afraid to admit that I was the one who said they were going slowly before.

The lack of recent photos on RCDB probably results from the fact that the owner/maintainer is extremely slow and doesn't show much interest in posting pics quickly. Some of mine sat in his inbox for 3 months before he put them up.

I'm sure that Dwayne was concerned about your photos while he was on his vacation to China...

Ken, I remember when you were our Wormy 10 years ago with your Top Gun construction page. I just wanted to say that to let you know we have not forgotten.

I could be wrong here, but I think you have the wrong Ken, and swampfox43 is who you are referring to.
