Yeah I must agree with jordN. I mean the whole concept of this coaster was supposed to be the Biggest, Baddest, Meanest coaster in the Mid-Atlantic and of its type in the East Coast. I do think they pulled those elements off but at an expense. I could prolly simulate these turns in my vehicle. Going 90 mph down this track may be cool but only to get thrown from side to side...and combined with the OTSRs might spell a very uncomfortable ride. I honestly would not be surprised if the this coaster can't stand up to the hype that it receives, the crowds are disappointed with the 305, and the park changes the OTSRs for the original lap bar restraints like MF has for the 2011 season (trying to save on half done idea).

As much as I wish this would happen, don't look for it to. Intamin is now recommending this type of restraint for these types of coasters and it would be baaaaaaad news for the park not to follow the manufacturers recommendations if something were to happen.

well then its still a half-baked idea. The coaster only offers some great speed and crazy turns....if I wanted that I would have just rode a Wild Mouse type coaster. I mean come-on, the people who complain about Beast being boring will have a new favorite to hate. And as I said earlier, the turns look way too brutal for any single person/rider to enjoy the full effect of. Idk, maybe I wouldn't be complaining so much if it had one more great hill and an overbanked turn hill (like the one spread through out MF) instead of high speed turn flip into another high speed turn...Oh look another high speed turn.

I have come to understand every coaster cant have the same thing. Im looking foward this coaster for the very reason lots arent really liking it...the speed and quick transitions. I think a coaster that doesnt really let up until the end of the ride is really far and few inbetween in the US. You can only have too many ups and downs right? I mean, if Intaminhater was just like this one then why would I wanna travel to KD to ride it. You didnt see too many people traveling to both parks when the hurler clones open.

True True. I am just saying that the turns in combination with the OTSRs I foresee headbanging or whiplash. I am not disagreeing with you that there are few coasters here in the US that don't let up until you are completely down with the ride. The few that we do have are stellar. But I just forsee this coaster hurting people and its reputation. Looking at the track itself, its like they tried to combine the best of MF and Maverick at CP but the reason why those are so good is because of different reasons..MF's speed, Mavericks turn-by-turn layout.

I tell ya what. Once its opened and running, and I see an overwhelming amount of praise from riders, then I will eat my own words. But until then, I remain skeptical of 305.
