It does seem that the ride ops are going to be hauling butt. With all three trains testing it is clearly apparent wait times in line are going to be strictly based on guests loading and unloading times.

Dani, I hope y'all have some ideas to keep the line flowing almost seamlessly. The way all three trains on the track are running/testing seem to say that lockers are going to be needed or a ride opp is going to be needed doing collection duty like the operations over at Nighthawk. Also would it be possible to get a "greeter" ride associate placed at the front of the entrance to the line? I have heard and seen other parks do this. All the greeter would do is check heights, remind people of what NOT to do in the line, and talk with the guests. It is one way to get some serious guests compliments. I thought it was really fun one time when the greater walked by us while we were waiting in line and just started talking to us about the ride, what to expect, ride stats, etc. Not to mention by having an associate at the front of the line, it helps improve timing and reduces guest complaints because Johnny waited in a 3 hour long line with his parents and Johnny is too small to ride.

***YES those people exist, I had to deal with them almost daily in the summer. Sorry height restriction are there for a reason: Your safety and ours!!!***

God, I can't wait to ride this thing. Is time getting slower now? UGH...March 27th couldn't get here fast enough.

Anyone know if there will be in line TV's showing Dales Greatest Hits? And speaking of in line, I know there will be soda machines in line, Hey Dani, you know why no one plays the games, because after buying drinks for the kids, their broke. How much is a soda, $3.50? I can get a soda, 2 tacos, and a burrito for $3.50 at Taco Bell. IMO, charge more for passes, parking, pay rides etc, but charging that much for a drink is ridiculous.

Idk. Although there are a lot of TV's that were replaced with moving misty fans. And there are a few TV's that would have to be taken out of the line for Boo Blasters (aka Scooby). So it is possible and with the supposedly shading elements in line, fans might not be needed so much. Actually come to think about it, in the ride rendering photos there is vending machines in the line that appear to have TV's on top of them. I think it is definitely possible.

You talking like they have on Cobra?? There is a person at the top that checks height and points your way to your seat. But then I guess nobody wants their seats assigned, so there pops another problem.

NO no no no no no no no. :D Even better. You know when a ride is "down" they have someone stand at the front of the line to redirect guests and what not. Well what I am talking about is that same person being at the front of the line regardless if the ride is down or not. It can help improve operations of the ride and expedite waiting times for checking a child's height or even saving someone the trouble of getting in the line only to find out that the ride has just gone down. Now obviously something is needed to communicate to the greeter that the ride is down, for instance a whistle or a bell or something, but the position would seriously help. Not to mention as a guest, having someone to talk to about the ride or just how your day is going makes me feel important and wanted. Not to mention it takes my mind off of the time I have truly been waiting; thus making it seem like I have waited shorter than I really have.

How about you hate on the people that dont know why they test in the afternoon. Logic people. But all good questions. That I'm sure other people were wondering too.

Yes, you can have your opinion on the line. But, for the love of Christ, don't come on here complaining that you hate how the line is QUEUE is setup. That sounds like something a 14 year old would complain about, hence me asking if you were 14.

If you want to complain about something, complain that the ticket prices are too high or that the season pass processing isn't open long enough, or that Jarvis is being mean to you. Complaining that the exit queue goes past the entrance queue makes as much sense as complaining about your butthole being on the back side of your body. No one knows why, that's just the way it is.

Think of it this way. By them placing the exit queue so close to the entrance queue they have lots of room for a new flat ride or two.

Seriously how old are you? Your the one making a big deal. I said I dont like the placing of the exit line. If you dont care then why comment on it. What the point in being negative? Get over yourself and stop thinking your superior to other people. Who are you trying to impress? You made your self look stupid by giving me examples of something to complain about. When your questions has the exact same answer as my question did. Its just that way. So something you might complain about and I think is stupid I keep my opinion to myself. Take a look at the code of conduct... Your not following it.

Code of Conduct:
1. Flaming: Do not post messages that harass, insult, belittle, threaten, or mock other members. Debates are fine and even encouraged, but you must critique the opinion, not the person.

2. Trolling: Do not post topics with the sole purpose of starting a dispute. Disagreeing with an opinion is not trolling. Even if a person has an opinion that seems illogical or senseless to you, they have the right to express that opinion, and you must respect it even if you disagree.

And why would I complain about Jarvis hes hilarious.

Done with that now.

The renderings appear to have quite a few TVs and SHADE. Gives us something to watch standing in line. Hopefully it is longer than 5 minutes so we dont have it all memorized by the time we get to the ride.

For those who were wondering, Dani states that the gift shop will be a tunnel from the ride you have to pass through it to see your picture etc. Also says that all asphalt will be replace with pavers to prevent heat related illnesses. Planet Snoopy will have comic strips posted through out the line queues.

Oh kiddie... I'm old enough to be your father. Not by much, but hey.. that's what we did "back in my day".

I spoke up about your comment originally because this thread is about the construction of Intimidator. That means a correct post by you would've been something like "Hey, I noticed that they have erected the queue rails for Intimidator today. I think it's odd that they placed the exit so close to the entrance. It might cause problems with people line jumping". But instead you posted "I dont like the que line how is set up. I dont like how the exit line is going to pass right by the people waiting to get on." which accomplishes two things. One, it makes you seems like a 14 year old girl complaining about useless crap, and two, it doesn't contribute anything to the conversation at hand.

And if you thought I was trying to impress people with my last comment towards you, well... you don't know me very well. Ask Jonathan if I care who I impress. Although I don't think me giving logical things to complain about made me look anymore stupid that someone who complains about the location of queue rails for a roller coaster.

Oh yeah, please don't try to school me with the Code of Conduct. I've written plenty of them myself for my site. But if you are trying to point out that I "flamed" you, I beg to differ... I was merely "critiquing the opinion" which is clearly within the rules that you defined for me. As for the trolling part, I told you that you were entitled to your opinion, so...
