Well what I am talking about is that same person being at the front of the line regardless if the ride is down or not. It can help improve operations of the ride and expedite waiting times for checking a child's height or even saving someone the trouble of getting in the line only to find out that the ride has just gone down. Now obviously something is needed to communicate to the greeter that the ride is down, for instance a whistle or a bell or something, but the position would seriously help. Not to mention as a guest, having someone to talk to about the ride or just how your day is going makes me feel important and wanted. Not to mention it takes my mind off of the time I have truly been waiting; thus making it seem like I have waited shorter than I really have.
