General Carowinds discussion

Everything is really coming together! I cant wait to see it in a couple weeks at the ACE tour... There is a huge area they shoukd put another one of those race tracks (remote control cars) in that area, it would fit well with the theme. Anyone remember when they had the remote control cars over by the swings? I think it would make sense.... dont know if anyone would use it but from what I remember before there was always someone using them before.

Are those like the boats? Put in a quarter in the machine for 3 minutes of time, or whatever? i think they could make it a game, up to 6 people could race for 10 laps, winner gets a prize. Charge 3 bucks like the rest of the games, but it'd be fun. "If it ain't rubbin', it ain't racin'"

YEa it was like the boats, it had a steering wheel and gas/brake pedals. I dont remember how much it was to do it but I remember a lot of people doing it. I think it would work but probaly work better if they had someone working it to make it an actual "race", this way the racers could win a prize, making it worth the $$... maybee...

jasonwilson88 wrote:They could easily solve the potentially high amount of very irritated people (myself included) that arrive on opening day, who couldn't come to the early processing dates, if they would just open up the pass processing an hour or 2 before the gates open on March 27. Problem solved, but Carowinds so far has not announced anything of this sort.

Otherwise we get to ride the exciting "pass processing" ride before Intimidator!

We have discussed opening SP Processing at 8:30am on opening day. The official announcement will be made closer to opening day.

That would be great for all the people that dont know about the early season pass processing. Are the news crews going to announce the early processing as well? Thats a good way to spread the word...

Its not even confirmed yet.... Plus I don't know why everyone was making a big deal about it anyway because they never said they were going to open processing at 10:00 anyways. I know I have got my pass processed before the park opened before and got in with everyone else.

Yea, but the IT folks here at my office have it blocked. I was dependent on the website's webcam. Which I still find odd that it doesn't work for me anymore. It use to and I-305 and Diamondback still work fine. Holiday World's cam's work fine...

Thank you Dani for taking my very small request into account, whether or not that gate opens early Opening Day will still be the best day I've ever spent at Carowinds, unless Intimidator craps out.

And it's a Beemer, so no worries here.
