Just my opinion.

Well the 'initial shock' maybe over, but the came is going to catch a lot of people off guard. I would assume they put it where they did because of the speed the coaster will be going. Its hard to get a picture of someone on somethin goin 80mph im sure. although I thoght it would be after the turnaround or something but there has to be a good reason why they put it where they did. I think after the brake run people will still get a shock off the drop especially people that havent seen the coaster and dont know whats going to happen. Oh well, guess we will see how the pictures work out tomorrow!

On the far right.

What's depressing about it? It's in a place where most people won't be thinking about it anymore, then they walk out and find they had a pic taken of them.

Agreed...also I hate it when they try to place the camera at one of the most thrilling parts of the ride. Its like I cant enjoy the better parts of the coaster because I am having to get my vogue on

Ill bet they didnt put it at the turnaround because of the banking of the track etc. Oh well. Anyway, turn it to fox news rising that reporter they are about to show the reporter (forgot his name) riding intimidator, he said "that ride was awesome"

I'm so jealous watching all the people riding Intimidator on the cam today. From the looks of things it's hauling *** through the course all the way to the end!

Hopefully the crew gets some good experience today because they are stacking like crazy, can't hate on the first day though.

Don't worry about the stacking that was mostly due to the media and cameras. One train was constantly running with a camera in the front row which was adjusted after each run. The crew was doing an excellent job of getting the trains out as quick as possible.

You guys are lucky! I wish I coulda went to media day, unfortunately I dont have a website or anything, but its all good will be there soon enough. Thanks for all the good info and videos from today! Everything looks amazing and its crazy how much they had to do in 2 weeks. All the hard work finally paying off! I am looking forward to a great day tomorrow riding intimidator hopefully at least 3 times, depending on the line etc. Gotta try out the single rider line... Also cant wait to ride afterburn and everything else, I am ready for a coaster fix!

Just a quick note, I heard from a supervisor that the queue is supposed to be opening at 9:00 AM tomorrow.

That's not official of course, but I feel pretty safe in saying it's true because of the source and who he was talking to.

Apparently I was in the background on WBTV's footage, but I couldn't find it on their video footage on their site.

The one time I don't bother to watch the news, I'm actually in there.

Oh yeah, I didn't get to speak to him but I was about 5 ft from the master himself, Walter Bolliger!
