Ummmm.... so.

Cedar Fair already stole the highest, fastest invert from them with Banshee. What difference would this make? It's called coaster wars and the only people who benefit from the carnage are coaster geeks! Bring it on.

Alpengeist lift hill is like 195 ft tall, Banshee is 167.

"Since Banshee’s lift hill is on a higher elevation of terrain than the other side of the ride that goes down into a valley, the total elevation change is 208 feet from the highest point at the top of the lift hill to the lowest point, which is the bottom of the batwing between loops four and five." https://www.visitkingsisland.com/banshe ... icle/Title

The "elevation" is higher for banshee I guess and they did say the top speed will not be after the first drop as well... Of course they didnt advertise it as the tallest and fastest, they advertise it as the longest inverted in the world...

Im still trying to guess at what world record our coaster could possibly break, obviously it is height, and likely not speed... so then you have track length... and inversions? What else am I not thinking of...

And it will be called "The Interception."  All jokes aside, I think that would be a great idea. We all know that before Paramount, Carowinds was 90% Carolina themed. Most rides had something to do with Carolina history. Then Cedar Fair started bringing that charm back with the Intimidator; themed to a Carolina legend. I then thought that The Windseeker teasers were going to have something to do with Carolina history because I remember seeing the Wright Brothers teaser for it. That all changed when it was actually revealed to be Windseeker, someone that most if not all of the Cedar Fair parks got as we'll. I do not believe that anything else Cedar Fair has given us is Carolina themed; unless Cobras have something to do with Carolina. If there would be a Panthers Coaster, there should also be a Hornets Ride, and a Tar Heels ride.

As I was writing the first Paragraph and dreaming away, I started thinking logic. Rights to the theme of the ride would have to be purchased. I am unsure of how much of the $30 million would be deducted for that, but perhaps one of you guys would?

Great. Can't we nice Char-Meck taxpayers enjoy our new stadium escalators and video boards for a season or two (or at least until 2018) before we start holding up blue and black paint chips next to supports? Hold up, let's get those property tax incentives over to CF first. First things first! Anything else you'd like us to buy for the rest of the Carolinas?

Half serious, mainly jest. Resume chia-coaster chat :D
