General Carowinds discussion

Well launched seems very plausible seeing that the proposed layout gives very short amount of distance from the queue station to the short turn. It is gonna be a quick circuit from the documents received. BUT A RECORD BRRAKER. This can happen. Let's just enjoy the anticipation that KingHippo provided for us. Since nobody gives me my props, I will haunt you all. And my sources ARE real

While technically this is correct, B&M did not design or manufacture the launch of Hulk, so the chance of them designing something launched on their own is very very slim.

Also I like how in a period of less than 24 hours this thread collectively decided that it was a wing coaster, and then all at once collectively decided it wasn't.

I love you Carowinds Connection.

Public records are not sources. You provided nothing new. Anyone with real sources don't post the information on a public forum, don't go around asking for a pat on the back and most certainly does not tell anyone that he/she has sources.

You're a douche. Meclenburg county records provide details. REAL DOCUMENTS. I'M trying to earn my stripes within this community and it is real brother and I wasn't a coaster geek until now. Think before you speak. I brought real records to this page when I was laughed at. I've been discarded even for my opinions but this is cedar fairs way of making us a player. Just be grateful that finally they think we're worthy. Richmond sucks compared to Charlotte. This should've happened ten years ago. Learn from your mistakes. Just sayin

OK, hardy har har. Hippo, this was public record and it was only a matter of time before someone (or anyone else who refers to himself in third person) brought it here. But we're back to square one really. Good. Does anyone really want to know what they're getting for Christmas NEXT year? To be fair though, 'kingHippo' made this thread quasi-interesting for almost 24 hours, so for that you get a prize. Go sit down.

Anyone else find the rest of that document, other than the supposed coaster garble, entertaining in a train wreck sort of way?

Here's something to think about:

Skyrush has a train with a 'wing' design (and that's the term they used when announcing it). Perhaps they are doing a 300' Intamin with Skyrush trains...

I really feel the 65 mph is a mistake.

Just something to think about...

Here is my take on this.
If that meeting was a "closed meeting" then I believe the mins would not be posted for the public . to read. If this coaster is in fact a giga coaster (over 300')then this coaster would not be a wing coaster. There woyld be way too much stress on the arms
Also 300' tall, sure we don't know the drop but i can guess it'll be more the 65mph unless they were do what they did to i305 and have trim breaks going down the first drop.

But given the idea...maybe this could be a launch coaster up a 300' tower. 65mph may just do the trick to get the train up and over the tower.
