I have not been on that coaster, but sounds like it has intensity and airtime. But more likely it will be B&M, similar to Leviathan. If they do a Canada's Wonderland pattern.

I would have to disagree with the layout being similar to Leviathan. Reason why is because the layout for Leviathan is close to our Hyper. I don't believe CF would built 2 coasters with the almost the same layout just different height in the same part. But then again I could be wrong.

As far as the I-305....I really hope that is wrong.....

Well they did it in Canada. They already had Behemoth which is similar to our Intimidator. Then they soon built Leviathan which is a larger version. So I am thinking possibly they may have the same pattern in mind for Carowinds. We shall see.

And according to hints from a new Unknown source, the new coaster will indeed be a B&M as predicted. But no official confirmation on that just yet. But perhaps this new source is an exec or manager with Cedar Fair who may indeed have some valid inside information. Again, we shall see.

He could be. Or maybe he is just some Internet troll. But one thing is for sure, we are provided with some info. Although it is small, it's something we can work with to keep our forums going until more announcements come.

Not quite...

Two totally different layouts. If anything, levitathan is similar to intimidator, not the opposite.

So if Leviathan is similar to Intimidator, maybe our giga will be like Behemoth. Probably more twist on this ride, but if it is like behemoth, that would be great! From what I hear, that ride has great airtime.

The layouts for Intimidator and Leviathan are pretty much the same until they get to the brake run. Leviathan ends there but Intimidator does the diving spiral. If the "unknown" source is correct, this maybe be more of a long, narrow out and back coaster to the freeway and back to the park along the tree line.

I could be wrong. I have no actual proof.

Why reduce the coaster carowinds is getting to being LIKE any existing coaster? Are we so use to comparing coasters that we cant just see a coaster being an original design. Intimidator is just like intimidator, top gun is just like top gun...

or they can just click the link I already posted. :) Also, Centurion is what a roman soldier? Not sure how I could see how that would fit with anything in carowinds now.

unless...

Cessna 210 Centurion! This would give us an NC theme. First in Flight. There is also a huge Centurion facility in Fayetteville. And since it would be a plane and have wings, thus your wing coaster.
