Nighthawk is a decent ride, they just need to redesign the station/train. it shouldnt take 15 mins to get riders in their seats.

How is Windseeker a space-waster? Sure, it's slow, but it's a nice ride. The park needed a few more flat rides, so I don't think space was wasted on this. Dinosaurs Alive? sure. I would have preferred a few family rides dropped down in there, so Dinosaurs Alive is a space-waster. It would be a great exhibit at the Discovery Place in downtown Charlotte, but not at Carowinds.

The only way to speed up the loading/unloading process on any flying coaster would be to have the seat rotated while the train is motion. Vekoma had originally desgined the trains to do this. My understanding is that the hardware to it was left on the trains but the system never worked properly. Even Superman at SFOG suffers from slow loading/unloading times. Anyone know how Tatsu and the 2nd gen Superman coasters are on capacity? Windseeker makes YoYo seem exciting, atleast Skytower I can ride without freezing to death. Windseeker is cold even in the summer.

I havent rode Nighthawk in years, it isnt worth the wait and fastlane plus osnt worth the cost for one ride. I will wait 30+ for Intimidator but it rarely gets that long. That is a normal day for Nighthawk...

Trying to use logic with Vekoma is like trying to get through to a politician.

How so? The original station, which we have was redesigned. And Vekoma has redesigned all of their adult coaster restraints in the last few years, as well as offering retrofits (that parks are mostly ignoring).

Seems to me Vekoma listened when parks started talking...

I enjoy Nighthawk but not enough to wait 30+ minutes for it. My point was for as much space as the ride takes up and as low capacity it is, it is wasted space that could be used for a higher capacity ride. How many coasters would fit in Cobra's footprint have higher capacity? A launch coaster like Full Throttle of Flight of Fear could fit Iin Nighthawk's.

However, Windseeker is a high capacity ride but tbe experince is just a outdoor skytower. I am afraid of heights but Windseeker is relaxing.

I wonder if any other preliminary preparation or construction for the new coaster will soon begin this year. And do we have to wait until August for the official announcement, or will they consider releasing the news earlier? Perhaps more details will start to leak out. Hopefully a B&M giga style similar to Leviathan.
