I went back and reread one article and while it Implys we are getting a wing coaster. It doesnt say that.I think Gatekeeper was used as an example because our coaster will have a presence at the front gate. However, I still believe it could refering to Intamin's Wing Coaster lije Skyrush.

A 300ft Skyrush would be great, but I still think a B&M giga is more likely rather than Intamin. And I still am not sure if a 300ft wing coaster is feasible. We will probably get a front gate coaster, but that may be the only similarity to Gatekeeper as well as designed by B&M.

What about a dive coaster. Holy Diver. Dio would be proud.

my thought is that a coaster can go around the palladium and carowinds can utilize the palladium for something like the Extreme Sports Stadium at Cedar Point. adding a path from where skyflyer was around to the front. Moving the entrance up a bit would then en-capsule the palladium within the park itself and be right where the coaster does its turn around. No sense in leaving it unused for much of the season.

Maybe it has to do with the Skytower Tree? It has been extremely windy lately. Hey, I am a Fairly Odd kindof guy. I think it is odd that "Da Rules" is still at the top of lift and Afterburn still has a TG star on the station.

Exactly. My point was that there were numerous 'facts' in that meeting which any of us that know anything about parks/coasters know they weren't facts or even close to accurate. It was just enough generally accurate info to give the politicians a basis to vote on. We'll start finding out more accurate info in the next six months.
