thanks, I have actually not seen that video or heard that interview. I think him saying world record breaking does mean something because he said it would be record breaking first and then added world record breaking. he didn't have to to do that. the fact that carowinds will have something that doesn't exist in the rest of the world is awesome.

Tallest Wing Coaster: Maybe, but I think it could be unlikely.

Tallest Lift Hill: Nope, won't work. The Poler-Coaster in florida rises to around 500 feet, so this record is out of the picture.

Fastest Coaster with a lift: Maybe. I think this idea is more likely than the other two. If this thing can get up to at least 96 MPH, it will beat Steel Dragon 2000's record.

I don't think records like "tallest lift hill" or "fastest coaster with a lift" are likely. They don't even make much sense to your average person and don't exactly make a statement in a marketing campaign. As for the Polercoaster, this ride will open before any of those do, if they even open at all (I have my doubts that we will ever see any of them built).

That video definitely adds some intrigue (how was that not posted here 6 months ago?). I honestly have no idea what it could be. I've had my doubts about a wing coaster but that seems a lot more plausible if it has to break some sort of world record.

I'm surprised nobody has stumbled upon that video before now.

I'm also intrigued. After watching that video, I think just about anything is on the table (within reason and a $30 mil budget, of course). It should certainly be an interesting summer as we start seeing it come together.

Yes, come July or August perhaps teaser signs will be posted, and some steel track may show up from Ohio. And the official announcement by the end of August. I would guess they would have the plans finalized by now. But hoping to find out sooner, but I guess 6 more months won't be that long to wait.
