I can almost guarentee you carowinds giga will not be named Fury 325. This is not the name of a coaster you put out in the front of your park and its not really Cedar Fairs style. They have made an effort to suit ride names to each individual park. Fury in no shape or form fits into anything that is the Carolinas or the south for that matter. Cedar Fair has made a substantial investment in Carowinds, their not gonna screw it up by naming their main attraction something as stupid as Fury.

I still think if Carowinds gets a giga that is 325 feet, that would just be UNBELIEVABLE for the park! Literally THE tallest non-Strata roller coaster in the world....and it would be B&M.........Wow....Just........wow!

We all want Carowinds to have the greatest coaster on earth. There's no reason we cant have a distinctive world class ride that knocks all others out of the park. I still think its a wing and am probably wrong. But if not its probably gonna be just slightly better than Leviathan. Thats usually how it works with Cedar Fair unless its Cedar Point. Hopefully I'm wrong though.

Well if Cedar Fair is still dead-set on making Carowinds the "Cedar Point of the South" they wouldn't be afraid to push the envelope a bit more like they do at Point.

Fury was chosen as the name because of the intensity that this ride will bring and the insane elements! Is it 90 degrees outside today? I hope the clouds will do a rollover!

I think Fury is a great name and definitely indicates intensity. Much better than Centurion which sounds boring. But adding 325 is debatable, but will be truly awesome if the coaster turns out to be a 325 foot giga. But I hope it isn't white.

I think it will be the opposite of what Cedar Fair did in 2010. This time, Carowinds gets the giga (Fury 325), and Kings Dominion gets the hyper (Fury), both manufactured by B&M. Perhaps Centurion is for a wing coaster? I could see Knott's getting a wing coaster this year named Centurion. I doubt Cedar Fair would put in 2 gigas and a hyper all in one year. That's seems like a lot for just one year. Maybe they wait a year or two to put a giga at Knott's and that gets named Centurion? Or Centurion could just be a flat ride for any of the parks. I hope I'm right. It'd be pretty sweet to have the world's tallest traditional coaster at Carowinds.

Hmm, wonder what I'd be more excited about?

Seriously though I don't really care what the name is nor do I give a fuzzy rats butt what color it is. I just want it to be exciting and not just up, down , up, down, turn around and repeat. Give me something to scream about.

If this coaster indeed turns out to be 325 feet, then they have finally decided to top Millenium Force at the Point. Sounds like they have big plans ahead, Whatever the name may turn out to be.

Ground has been broken in the Skycoaster area and in the gokart track. Sadly Skytower is still closed.
