Hopefully 325 will be the correct height, regardless if it ends up in the name. But could be that Fury 25 is one of their planned leaks to tease, and not the actual name. But we shall soon see.

I really wonder how many years the wait is for placing an order and B&M delivering the ride? 5 years seems reasonable to me, considering how small the company is. With that said, maybe the guy knew what had already been planned 4 years ago. Some things can probably be ordered and delivered in a year or two, but a B&M coaster is likely not one of them.

All of this brings us back to the B&M plant in Ohio. I wish someone could do flyover and see what is out of view.

Typically, it takes 4 years. That is, from the moment the park calls B&M to the moment the ride opens.

And was the Intimidator name leaked before the official announcement back then? Seems like they teased with White Lightnin. Which would still be great to see that name returned, although it might be a better fit for a launch coaster.

On April 24/13, the trademark appeared on Trademarkia and the rest is history... :)

They'll call it Clifford the big red dog after it becomes part of what ever the next planet snoopy will be

I have no clue what the future brings, but I see absolutely no reason why they would not build a 325 foot tall coaster at Carowinds.

Carowinds underperforms what some of the other parks do as far as attendence. The park has room to expand. They've publicly stated that they want Carowinds to be the Cedar Point of the south. They gave Kings Dominion the 'big' coaster last time they gave us one (so it's our turn). MF is 15 years old, it will be topped by somebody else soon anyways (I don't know this, just guessing) so there's no reason to protect that record any longer.

The... guy in charge (not sure his title) at that press conference or event where he spoke about it, said that he looked forward to riding the record breaking coaster at Carowinds, didn't he? So it'll break SOME record, maybe he literally meant the height record.

Things are fluid, if it does break the record another will break it in a couple years, so it's not like they're permanently declaring Carowinds the best park in the world or anything, they're just giving us a huge coaster to help make it a destination.

Sounds completely logical to me, the timing is perfect. They've proven time and time again they're not afraid to throw money at something, this is them throwing money at Carowinds.

We'll have to hold out a bit longer to see exactly what they build, but I see no reason why it can't be a 325 foot tall coaster.

Well normally I would brush that off as stock CF footage of another one of their rides from another park.....

BUT is there a ride already with gold track and white supports in their portfolio??? If not then you may be right...
