Most employees probably don't know anything at all, but I'm sure there are some that do. I have no idea how things work at Carowinds but I can definitely say that at Cedar Point I stumbled upon a number of things I probably shouldn't have.

From what I understand, the name is being kept very close to the vest. I would really start looking more closely at that plant in Ohio though.

Is it safe to assume that we are far enough into the process for the employees to know pretty much all about the ride?

Other than corporate level, the regular park employees probably do not know specific information regarding the new coaster. Other than generic info, such as big and tall, and record breaking. Which is all we know officially as well. But I would certainly guess the contracted construction company would have the blueprints by now, so some of the construction workers may have a bit more of an idea. But I would guess they are sworn to secrecy.

He didnt say the size of it, but there many markers that say construct and ect. From the leaked blue prints from ACE, it looks fairly huge!

I think the contracted employees probably could care less about what they are building. To them it's another job. If you ran up to one and started asking questions about what they are building, they will probably be shocked that you are interested in what they are doing. Same with the truck driver who delivers coaster sections to the park. If you saw one at a truck stop and asked about it, all he will likely be able to tell you is where he is delivering it. I have several truck driver friends and relatives and they could care less about what they are hauling. We are pretty much the only ones interested in this stuff.

Oh there is a chance if they are like I was....
It is past the time that I knew of Cyclone's removal for Flight of Fear. However, Cedar Fair put a stop to Paramount Parks plans to do this. Thank Skytower!
