Does anyone know what time last year the track for Banshee started appearing outside the factory?
I'd imagine ours would be even earlier due to the length of the track

If you go look at the build galleries on this wonderful site, you'll see a great picture from July 3rd, 2009 of the Intimidator tracks laying outside the warehouse...

So in other words, in my uneducated opinion, you're looking at part of Carowinds' new coaster laying outside there right now.

Based on the construction markers along the front of the park I think it's now safer than ever to assume those blueprints from awhile back are more or less correct and at least somewhat up to date. This means the coaster will in fact make that "front gate statement". The only reason I think this is strange is because I kinda thought Intimidator was our front gate statement.

While that white track may or may not be destined for Carowinds, it definitely isn't for a Dive Coaster. The track gage on the rails is completely different on the orange track than for the white track.
