I could be wrong about this, but I'm pretty sure Cedar Fair has never trademarked a name for a haunt attraction. If that's true, then Rougarou would have to be a name for a ride...

I'll be a bit controversial. I like the name Rougarou more and more when I think about it. I still think Centurion is a great name, and of course Fury325 is terrible (for the 50th time lol). Just the themeing possibilities are intriguing.

But imagine Rougarou's entrance area? Foggy outside, scary lighting inside, a werewolf crouched outside the entrance on a large jagged rock baying at he moon. Take Banshee's lead and add a wolf's howl audio at the lift hill. The station could be a large cabin with giant claw marks torn into the side and a small foggy pond next to it to give it a swampy feel. I don't think it would be the worst thing ever if it ended up being called/themed to a rougarou.

^^ so basically, when it comes to themeing, we have, dark and scary (which is awesome), versus Bright and warm (roman themeing) which is also great. I will be happy with either. But I love Halloween, so dark and scary fits the bill.

While Ceder Fair could name/theme the coaster to something that does not work with the Trill Zone area it seems more likely that the name will work with the existing theme in that area. Fury325 seems to fit the existing theme. Now I would love to see that entire area change to a more Carolinian based theme and the new rides name work within that context. Extend the boardwalk area, I loved Outer Hanks with the rocking chairs or go with a Appalachia/moonshine theme and give us White Lighting back as a name. Yes I'm old school.

I've always felt the entrance to Carowinds was lacking. They need a International Street like KD or KI or something similar to SFOG. If they move the gate toward the parking area they could replace the arched bridge over the service road with a flat bridge, expand it on both sides and provide new shops from the existing plaza all the way to the Plantation House. The Plantation House could be a museum or Carowinds branded gift shop.

Honestly, I don't care what the name is. As long as it sounds decent, and the ride is 325 feet, then I am happy. Nice idea for the station, though! I wish carowinds had more theming like this
